Vietnam, Denmark promote cooperation in economics, environment, climate change, energy, and green development
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnamese Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan had a meeting with Denmark’s Crown Prince Frederik in Copenhagen on Wednesday as part of her official visit to Denmark.

Prince Frederik said he believes the Vice President’s visit will contribute to consolidating the Vietnam-Denmark comprehensive partnership. He asked the two countries to maintain their cooperation and mutual support, and work to implement agreements within the framework of the Green Strategic Partnership approved by Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen on November 1.
Prince Frederik said the Royal Family and the Danish Government will continue to create favorable conditions for Vietnamese to integrate into the host’s society.
Vice President Xuan said Vietnam and Denmark should continue to implement signed agreements and take advantage of cooperation opportunities created by the Green Strategic Partnership.
She called on the Royal Family and Government of Denmark to help Vietnam realize the commitments of the Just Energy Transition Partnership, the 26th United Nations Climate Change Conference, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
She asked the Prince to support Danish organizations like as the Green National Fund, assist Vietnam's green transition, and encourage Danish businesses to operate in Vietnam in the fields of renewable energy and green growth.
