(VOVworld) – A large number of Vietnamese in Egypt met on Saturday night at a get-together organized by the Vietnamese Embassy there. Ambassador Dao Thanh Chung reviewed Vietnam’s achievements in 2013 and commended the Overseas Vietnamese for their contributions to national development. He reiterated Vietnam’s consistent policy of considering Overseas Vietnamese an inseparable part of the Vietnamese nation. He praised Vietnamese in Egypt for their sentiment and love for the homeland, reflecting the Vietnamese tradition and helping to build a prosperous Vietnam. Chung pledged work harder to consolidate and strengthen the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and the rest of the world.
