(VOVworld) - Vietnam’s productivity is one of the lowest in the ASEAN. This was announced at a workshop on Vietnam’s labor output in Hanoi on Thursday.
Director of the Central Institution of Economic Management, Nguyen Dinh Cung, told the workshop that efficient use of technology, human resources and economic restructuring will help boost labor output: “Labor productivity has to be a driving force for growth while representing competitiveness. We need to promote reform to raise productivity and improve competitiveness, rather than increase spending and squandering natural resources.”
