President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Tran Thanh Man said at the ceremony that the museum is a tribute to the work and the aspiration of many generations of VFF leaders and cadres, which provides a deep insight into the organization’s glorious traditions. The museum is hoped to meet the needs in research and study of the public, he said.

The museum received 318 documents and objects, adding to the nearly 1,000 exhibits it has collected until the inaugural.

Tran Hau, a member of the VFF Central Committee and former Director of the VFF’s Theory Center, said: “A traditional showroom was inaugurated 15 years ago after two years of collecting artifacts and documents. It is the first foundation for the museum to be built. The museum inauguration is an important historical event for the Front’s 90-year development process.”
