Vietnam Fatherland Front’s traditional day marked nationwide

(VOVworld) – Vietnam is celebrating the 85th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front on November 18th.

The Fatherland Front of Hau Giang province held a meeting to mark the 85th founding anniversary of the organization and 55 years of the southern liberation and national reunification. Participation reviewed the Front’s glorious traditions and contributions to the national liberation, reunification, construction, and defense.

The same day, at a celebration in Can Tho city, attendants reiterated the important role of the Fatherland Front in national great unity through movements to unite people in residential areas and day for the poor.

At a meeting with the Fatherland Front’s committee, Thua Thien Hue provincial leaders asked the provincial front and its branches at all levels to renew mode of operation toward implementing movement to unite all people to build a civilized cultural life in residential areas in combination with new rural development and social criticism.
