The Vietnamese national football team left Saudi Arabia and arrived at Hanoi’s Noi Bai international airport on Friday after losing 1 – 3 to Saudi Arabia in World Cup qualifiers. The team on Saturday started preparations for its game with the Australian team on Tuesday night, September 7. Meanwhile, the Australian team is leaving Doha, Qatar for Hanoi with its 65 members in a closed bubble process.
The Vietnam Football Federation has requested strictly measures in organizing the match between Vietnam and Australia this Tuesday to ensure COVID-19 prevention and control.
