Vietnam Football team wins most awards at 2018 Fair-Play Awards Ceremony
(VOVWORLD) - The 2018 Fair Play Awards was held on Monday in HCM City. First prize went to Doan Van Hau, Ha Duc Chinh, Nguyen Quang Hai, and Bui Tien Dung.

The four footballers took part in the VTV show “Seventh Wish” to help a little boy fulfill his dream after he was diagnosed with brain cancer at the age of 33 months. Second prize went to the Vietnamese U23 players who scraped snow to help midfielder Nguyen Quang Hai score a goal against Uzbekistan in the final match of the 2018 Asian U23 Championship. Coach Park Hang-seo received a lifetime achievement award for contributing to and greatly influencing the development of Vietnamese football.
