(VOVworld) - Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam has praised Vietnam and France’s close cooperation with practical outcomes in all fields.

The Deputy Prime Minister was speaking in a workshop in Can Tho on Wednesday to review bilateral cooperation at local levels towards sustainable and efficient economic partnership between Vietnam and France. He said:“Based on its experience and success, I expect France to support Vietnamese provinces in specific cooperative programs to fully tap local potential. Vietnam welcomes and facilitates French business operation and wishes for more French presence in Vietnam and the ASEAN for mutual and regional benefits.”
 
Delegates agreed on a cooperative plan for increased tourism promotion. The next workshop on local cooperation between Vietnam and France will take place in Toulouse in 2019.
