Vietnam hands over simulation training centre to Laos
(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnamese Defence Ministry on Friday presented a simulation training centre to Laos as a gift of the ministry’s Technical Application and Production Company (TECAPRO).

Addressing the hand-over ceremony, Major General Kilakon Bounnaphon, head of the Lao Defence Ministry’s Department of Technology, lauded TECAPRO’s capacity in researching and applying advanced technology for military training and national economic development.
He said that the support is a good start for cooperation between both sides. According to Major General Kilakon Bounnaphon, over the past years, the Ministry of Defence of Vietnam has effectively assisted Laos in building forces, developing infrastructure as well as human resources training, greatly contributing to the growth and modernization of Laos’ army.
