Vietnam hopes to enhance economic ties with Oregon
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam hopes to strengthen economic and trade ties with Oregon through better business connectivity and closer cultural and educational cooperation, Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh told visiting Oregon Governor Katherine Brown on Monday in Hanoi.

Noting that there are many opportunities for bilateral cooperation, he asked Governor Brown to continue to facilitate the import of Vietnamese agricultural products.
Brown was received the same day by Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son, who asked the Governor to continue supporting the Vietnamese community in Oregon. Brown expressed her hope that both side will boost semiconductor industry, which is one of Oregon’s strengths.
