Vietnam hosts AIPA Caucus
(VOVWORLD) - Southeast Asian countries need to continue applying advanced technology to improve production, the quality of products and services, and economic competitiveness to secure sustainable growth and development, said National Assembly Vice Chairman Tran Thanh Man.

At the 14th ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA) Caucus in Phu Quoc city on Monday, Mr. Man noted that development of the digital economy and its technological application should become the steppingstone to boost the national digital transformation and the transformation of the growth model.
The two-day event offers a chance to review the implementation of resolutions adopted at the 43rd General Assembly of AIPA, he said.
AIPA Secretary-General Siti Rozaimeriyanty Dato Haji Abdul Rahman said 157 resolutions have been passed since the first AIPA Caucus in 2007.
