Vietnam, Hungary boost education cooperation
(VOVworld) - Vietnam places great importance on developing friendly cooperative ties with Hungary, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung said at a reception for Hungarian Minister of Human Resources Balog Zoltan in Hanoi on Monday.

Mr. Dung said Vietnam wanted to work with Hungary to expand their cooperation, and in practical ways beneficial to their mutual development. He urged the two sides to accelerate the progress of already-signed projects and increase further cooperation in the areas of education, science and technology, healthcare, and human resources development. He expressed the hope that Hungary would offer more scholarships for Vietnamese students, and invited Hungary to open education centers in Vietnam.
Vietnamese Minister of Education and Training Pham Vu Luan and Hungarian Minister of Human Resources Balog Zoltan signed a deal on education and human resources cooperation on Monday. Minister Luan expressed the hope that Hungary would continue to support Vietnam with personnel training in the fields of healthcare, pharmacy, veterinary work, animal and plant cross-breeding, music, educational management, and nuclear power. Vietnam supports cooperation between universities and research centers of the two countries.
