Vietnam, India have great potential for trade cooperation

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam’s fresh agricultural products and wood furniture have advantages to export to India. Meanwhile Indian businesses are seeking for investment opportunities in Vietnam for its incentive trade environment.

Vietnamese and Indian businesspeople said this at a teleconference between Hai Phong city and New Delhi on Thursday.
Indian Importers Chambers of Commerce and Industry President Atul Kumar Saxena said both countries have great potential for trade and investment cooperation.
He said that Vietnam produces a big quantity of electronic products for export as well as for the domestic market to replace imported products. He recommended Indian businesses to come to Vietnam to explore business opportunities.
India is one of Vietnam’s 10 important trade partners and Vietnam is India’s 4th biggest trade partner in ASEAN. Two-way trade revenues have increased 10 times since they established strategic partnership in 2007 to 11 billion USD in 2019.
