(VOVworld) – On Thursday the Indian embassy and the Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry held a ceremony in Hanoi to welcome the lunar new year. Ambassador Preeti Saran praised cooperation between Vietnam and India in 2015, particularly in economics and trade with two-way trade surpassing the set target. India continues to be one of Vietnam’s major foreign investors in the areas of IT, pharmaceuticals, engineering, and forestry processing. With 118 investment projects with a registered capital of 500 million USD India currently ranks 28^th among the 110 countries invested in Vietnam.
