(VOVWORLD) - Korean tourists favored Asia and ranked Vietnam their second favourite destination in 2019, before the COVID-19 pandemic broke out, according to a report on tourism trends in South Korea, Japan, and Taiwan by Ho Chi Minh city-based The Outbox Company.

Vietnam received nearly 1 million Korean tourists in 2022, 26.4% of its international arrivals, according to Vietnam’s General Statistics Office.
