(VOVworld) - Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong on Thursday met Japanese Diet Speaker, Chairmen of the Japanese Communist Party, Liberal Party and witnessed the singing of a cooperative memorandum of understanding between the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Japanese Liberal Party.

He received Head of the Japanese International Cooperation Agency and executives of the Japan Business Federation, Keidanren.
He asked the Keidanren to promote Japanese business operation in Vietnam: “During my meetings with Japanese leaders, including with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, we all expected to raise bilateral ties focusing on political trust strengthening, economic connectivity, and cooperation on international issues. In our joint vision statement, we hope that the Keidanren to promote bilateral cooperation.”
