He pledged that Vietnam will ensure a peaceful environment, maintain macroeconomic stability, and promote strategic breakthroughs in institutions, infrastructure, and human resources to create an increasingly favorable business climate for foreign investors.

PM Chinh said that after many years of cooperation, Vietnam and Japan have gained valuable experience and a deep understanding of each other's business cultures.

This is a crucial foundation for both countries' businesses to enhance cooperation and investment as bilateral ties have been upgraded to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership for peace and prosperity in Asia and the world, he noted.

The Prime Minister said Vietnam prioritizes projects in areas such as green economy, digital economy, circular economy, knowledge economy, innovation and core technologies.

These are also the focal areas in the Joint Statement on upgrading relations between the two countries.

Mr. Chinh urged Japanese corporations to help Vietnam access new-generation official development assistance (ODA); financial resources for green investment; investments in energy transition under the framework of the Just Energy Transition Partnership (JETP) and the Asia Zero Emission Community (AZEC); and resources for innovation, such as the Innovation/DX Fund of the Japanese government.
