This trip affirms the comprehensive strategic partnership at a high level and is a reaffirmation of both countries' commitment to their relationship.
Noting that this is a very important time when Russia is restructuring its foreign economic relations, Kireeva said Vietnam is a developing country and a growing economy which represents huge opportunities for Russian investment in production, agriculture, logistics, and tourism.
Meanwhile, Russia can provide Vietnam with expertise in digital technology, smart city building, and urban infrastructure. Kireeva outlined specific ways to expand Russian-Vietnamese cooperation in multiple fields.
This is the fifth visit to Vietnam by President Putin, and Vietnam is one of the first countries he has visited since taking office for his fifth term in early May, which shows that Vietnam is an important Russian partner in South Asia, Kireeva said.
