Vietnam, Japan discuss prisoner transfer agreement
(VOVWORLD) - An agreement on prisoner transfers between Vietnam and Japan will help both countries’ citizens reintegrate into society more easily after serving their time in prison.

A second round of negotiations for such an agreement was hosted by the Ministry of Public Security in Hanoi on Monday. The negotiations reflect the Vietnamese government’s desire to strengthen international cooperation in the law and judicial sectors. It’s part of Vietnam’s efforts to make the Vietnam-Japan strategic partnership for peace and prosperity in Asia more practical.
