Vietnam, Korea to enhance science education
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam and the Republic of Korea (RoK) have cooperation potential in science education and training, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam told Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education of the Republic of Korea Kim Sang Kon in Hanoi on Thursday.
Mr. Dam added that the Republic of Korea could share experience and help Vietnam design new development models such as a virtual university, distance education, and e-learning.
The Deputy PM urged favorable conditions for Vietnamese students to study in the Republic of Korea, focusing on vocational training and the Korean language.
Kim said the Republic of Korea is ready to share its experience in new education methods with Vietnam, adding that his Government will continue encouraging Korean businesses to invest in Vietnam.
