Writing in the memorial book, NA Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan noted that the Tay Tien site plays a significant role in educating younger Vietnamese generations about patriotism.

Meanwhile, Lao NA Chairwoman Pany Yothotou underlined that the relic site is a symbol of the combat alliance between the people’s armies of Vietnam and Laos. Both countries will further the special traditional solidarity for the benefit of the two peoples.

Tay Tien  Regiment 52, was set up on February 27, 1947, and was based in Son La province during the anti-French resistance war (1945-1954).
