(VOVworld) - Vietnam and Laos will continue promoting bilateral cooperation in trade, education, and human resources development in the remaining months of 2014.

During a meeting of the Vietnam-Laos cooperation subcommittee in Hanoi on Tuesday, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, chairman of the subcommittee, said Vietnam-Laos relations are improving, so it is necessary to promote cooperation between Ministries, sectors and enterprises of the two countries. He asked ministries and agencies to promptly carry out their tasks to foster the special ties and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries. The Ministry of Planning and Investment reported that so far this year, Vietnam has invested about 5 billion USD in Laos, ranking third among foreign investors in Laos.
