Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia officials discuss Development Triangle Area
(VOVWORLD) - The 12th Senior Officials Meeting in the framework of the Joint Coordination Committee on Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam (CLV) Development Triangle Area took place on Saturday in the border province of Kratie, Cambodia.

Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Le Quang Manh said border projects of Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam have been implemented, mainly focusing on hydro-electricity, mineral exploitation and processing, and cultivation of industrial plants. The infrastructure has been built and transportation system has been upgraded in the area. The Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam Development Triangle Area was established to promote solidarity, and political stability, develop socio-economy and reduce poverty.
Vietnam has made great contribution to the Development Triangle Area. Vietnamese enterprises have invested in 113 projects with total registered capital of 4 billion USD in Lao and Cambodian provinces.
