(VOVworld) – A conference was held in Hanoi on Thursday to publicize a project to reinforce border markers and legal documents on border management between Vietnam and Laos. Nguyen Anh Dung, deputy director of Vietnam’s National Border Committee, said: “People of the two countries should step up exchanges and cooperation, contributing to the special friendship and solidarity between Vietnam and Laos.”

Vietnam and Laos have signed a protocol on their shared border and markers and an agreement on border management mechanisms and land border checkpoints.
