The two leaders agreed to coordinate well in implementing high-level agreements; continue to promote their tradition of close cooperation and trust in politics, defense and security; closely coordinate and boost the effective implementation of high-level agreements; and constantly improve the quality and effectiveness of cooperation between the affiliates of the Party, Government, National Assembly, the Front, and mass organizations of the two countries.

Both pledged to boost economic, trade and investment cooperation and support each other to build an independent, self-reliant economy with extensive and effective international integration and a steadfast path to socialism.

Party General Secretary and President Thongloun Sisoulith agreed that the two sides will actively capitalize on the results of the "Year of Solidarity-Friendship of Vietnam-Laos and Laos-Vietnam 2022" to continue to popularize the tradition of special relations, especially for the young generations of the two countries.
