(VOVworld) – President Truong Tan Sang has applauded the outcomes of the just concluded Vietnam-Laos inter-governmental committee meeting.

At a reception on Wednesday in Hanoi for Lao Deputy Prime Minister Somsavad Lengsavath, President Sang also expressed his pleasure at the fine developments of the bilateral cooperation over the years.
But to further the traditional cooperation, he said both should promptly lift trade barriers and put forth practical solutions and policies to deal with the pending issues.
Key projects should be sped up to complete on schedule to mark major celebrations of the two countries in 2015.
President Sang said the improvement of the quality and effectiveness of education and training cooperation between Vietnam and Laos will practically help Laos develop.
