Vietnam makes progress in digital economy: TFGI report
(VOVWORLD) - The Tech For Good Institute (TFGI), a non-profit think tank founded by Grab, hosted a seminar on Monday at which international experts discussed ways to develop a fair, inclusive, and sustainable digital economy in Southeast Asia.

ietnam's national strategy for developing a digital economy and a digital society emphasizes that a digital platform is a prerequisite, said Nguyen Trong Duong, Deputy Director General of the Department of Enterprise Management of the Ministry of Information and Communications. He said that rapid digital transformation depends on a digital platform.
TFGI’s report “Platform Economy: Southeast Asia’s Digital Growth Catalyst” showed that Vietnam has made progress in creating a digital economy. 62% of the revenue of the micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises surveyed comes from digital platforms, 5% higher than for Singapore enterprises.
