President Nguyen Xuan Phuc applauded the initiatives of trade union members and workers nationwide for the growth of their organizations and development of the country.
“We fully understand the hardships that all workers have been experiencing when Vietnam and the rest of the world are fighting against the COVID-19 pandemic. The Party and State have adopted many effective measures to combat the pandemic, fulfilling the dual goal for quick economic recovery,” he said.
“Workers’ income will increase again and many new jobs will be generated not only to compensate for the past period but also create a leverage for rapid and sustainable economic growth.”
