(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam and Mongolia have issued a joint communiqué on the occasion of the State visit to Vietnam by Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh from Wednesday to Sunday.

During the visit, the two sides discussed measures to enhance cooperation in politics, national defence, security, economy, education, sci-tech, transportation, logistics, culture, tourism, and people-to-people exchanges, as well as global and regional issues of shared interest.
This aimed to create a more comprehensive and substantive framework for bilateral ties as the two countries will celebrate 70 years of diplomatic relations in 2024.
The two sides signed 6 cooperative documents.
