Vietnam, Myanmar boost security cooperation

(VOVworld) – Vietnamese Minister of Public Security Tran Dai Quang on Tuesday told Myanmar Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Kyaw Kyaw Tun that the two ministries have strengthened co-operation in the fight against transnational crimes, protecting security and social order of each country.

Kyaw Kyaw Tun led a delegation of the Myanmar Ministry of Home Affairs to attend the first deputy ministerial level security dialogue with Vietnam. To step up the implementation of the cooperation agreement signed by the two governments, Quang suggested that both sides work more closely in preventing and fighting crimes and share experience in maintaining social security to serve each nation’s peace and stability.
