The Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology and the American National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) signed a joint declaration in Hanoi on Monday promising cooperation in civil space and aviation activities. This is the first basic agreement between Vietnam and NASA, opening prospects for cooperation between Vietnamese and NASA scientists in aviation and space research. The Academy and NASA will cooperate in research for space applications for social purposes, exchange of satellite data on earth research, environment and geophysics and human resource training for space research.
