Vietnam National Assembly enhances cooperation with New Zealand and Australia
(VOVworld) – A Vietnamese delegation led by the Head of the National Assembly’s Law Committee Phan Trung Ly has paid a working visit to Wellington, New Zealand.
During last weekend’s trip, the delegation visited New Zealand’s Parliament, worked with the Chairperson of the Law and Order Select Committee, Kanwaljit Singh Bakshi, Member of Parliament, Damien O’Connor, who is also the Chairman of the Vietnam-New Zealand Parliamentary Friendship Group. Mr. Phan Trung Ly said the visit aimed to learn more about the organization of authorities, the legal system and law making process in New Zealand.
Vietnam National Assembly’s Law Committee delegation continued their trip to Australia. During the visit until Saturday, they will work with the Law and Justice Committee of New South Wales and Victoria states and looked at the Law on Protests and Demonstrations at Australia’s Federal Police headquarters in Canberra.
