Vietnam naval ship of Brigade 167 trains with Indian counterparts
(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnamese Navy’s Region 2 Ship 379 on Saturday joined a training session with two ships of the Indian Navy, the multi-role stealth frigate INS Shivalik and the INS Kamorta corvette, in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province.

They practiced joint formations, performed sea salutes, exchanged intelligence and practiced international signals intelligence with Indian Navy ships.
Ships from both sides also implemented the Code of Conduct for the Surprise Meeting at Sea of the Navies of the Western Pacific States (CUES).
These activities aim to improve cooperation, mutual understanding, and trust between the two navies and militaries.

From November 30 to December 2, the two Indian warships docked at Nha Rong port for a three-day friendly visit to Ho Chi Minh City.
A welcome ceremony and friendship exchange activities were held for the officers and soldiers of the two ships.
