High on the agenda of the seminar in Hanoi were challenges and solutions to boost cooperation between the two countries. Vietnam and the Netherlands both face tough challenges in terms of climate change, water management and food security, which have prompted them to become partners in climate change adaptation and water management. Under a strategic partnership on sustainable agriculture and food security established in 2014, the Netherlands has become a big investor in Vietnamese agriculture.
