Under their Strategic Engagement Plan on Education for the period from 2020 to 2023, which was renewed on Tuesday, New Zealand pledges to continue helping Vietnam achieve its educational goals in the 21st century with generations of students armed with profound knowledge and necessary skills, who will be able to adapt to the world’s rapidly changing landscape.
The same day, Viet Nam and New Zealand signed an agreement to use electronic certification in the customs clearance of agricultural products. Signatories included Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Le Quoc Doanh, Deputy Minister of Finance Vu Thi Mai, and New Zealand Ambassador to Viet Nam Wendy Matthews.
Deputy Minister Doanh said: “This agreement facilitates Vietnam’s deep integration into global trade and opens the door for Vietnam’s agricultural products to enter new foreign markets. We expect online solutions will soon take effect to clear agro-forestry and fishery products.”
