This is the second time the Vietnam People’s Navy has sent a ship to Cambodia for a friendly visit. Colonel Nguyen Duc Nam, Vice Director of the Vietnam Naval Academy, said the visit fosters friendship, solidarity, and trust between the Vietnam People’s Army and the Cambodian Royal Army.  During their stay, the crewmembers have laid flowers at the Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Monument in Sihanoukville and visited the Vietnamese Consulate General in Preah Sihanouk province. They met with senior Cambodian naval officials and took part in a number of cultural and sports exchange activities.
