Vietnam pledges favorable conditions for US businesses operate sustainably
(VOVWORLD) - National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue on Wednesday received President and CEO of the US-ASEAN Business Council (USABC) Ted Osius and executives of US firms operating in consumer goods, industrial energy, IT, and financial services.

Mr. Hue said the Vietnamese Party and State always support USABC members and US investors in making long-term investments in Vietnam.
“The Vietnamese National Assembly pledges the best possible conditions for USABC members and other US investors to expand their long-term investments in Vietnam. Economic, trade, and investment cooperation continues to be a pillar of the Vietnam-US comprehensive partnership during this extremely difficult time,” according to Mr. Hue.
Mr. Osius said US firms want to help Vietnam develop a digital economy and recover from the COVID-19 pandemic in order to boost bilateral trade.
