(VOVworld) – Director General of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) Roberto Azevedo has announced the 2015 World Trade Report with prospect for 2016, which said Vietnam is the only country among 30 global exporters-importers to gain an impressive growth last year.

The WTO report reveals that Vietnam earned 162 billion USD from exports in 2015, a year-on-year increase of 7.9% while its import revenue was 166 billion USD, up 12.3%.

According to the report, the maritime cargo value of major exporters like China, Turkey, and Italy declined, while that of Vietnam, Bangladesh, Cambodia, and Myanmar recorded relatively high growth.
