(VOVworld) – Vietnam’s land and culture, particularly UNESCO-recognized tangible and intangible heritages, were featured at a tourism promotion conference in Oslo, Norway, last week. The event was held by the Vietnamese Embassy in Norway and several local travel agents to attract more Norwegian tourists to Vietnam, increase people-to-people exchanges, and enhance Vietnam-Norway friendship and cooperation. Vietnamese Ambassador to Norway Le Thi Tuyet Mai said the seminar is part of a campaign to promote travel to Vietnam.

At the event, representatives of travel agencies presented a portfolio of attractive tour packages and sampled traditional Vietnamese cuisine. The Norwegian travel agents praised Vietnam as an attractive new tourist destination.
