Vietnam proposes negotiations of economic cooperation agreement with Estonia
(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnamese and Estonian top diplomats underscored the need to increase exchange of delegations at all levels, maintain political consultation, foster cooperation between the two foreign ministries, and fine-tune legal framework for further cooperation in all areas.

During talks in Hanoi on Friday, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh, and Estonian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sven Mikser agreed on creating favorable conditions for Vietnamese key export items to Estonia and other Baltic nations, and the products of Estonia’s strengths to enter Vietnam and other ASEAN member countries.
Mr. Minh applauded the signing of an agreement on the avoidance of double taxation between the two countries and proposed negotiations of a new agreement on economic cooperation.
The leaders agreed on strengthening cooperation in areas both sides hold potential, and coordination in multilateral institutions in which Vietnam and Estonia are members.
