(VOVworld) – Vietnam Post has voiced its protest over China Post’s issuance of a stamp set of 6 patterns in May 2013, including the one featuring Vietnam’s Hoang Sa archipelago. The agency said that this act violates Vietnam’s sovereignty over the islands and does not correspond to the regulations of Universal Post Union. It called on the China Post to respect the truth and abrogate stamps, envelops and postcards printed with images of Vietnam’s Hoang Sa islands. The Vietnamese side urged the Chinese agency to prevent the recurrence of similar acts, contributing to building the relationship between the two postal sectors and the two countries in general.
