(VOVworld) - Vietnam has been ranked the sixth best country for solo travelers by US magazine Travel+Leisure.
The list was created based on two concerns for many solo travellers – safety and if the destination is a happy place.
The magazine used data from the Global Peace Index, which ranks 162 nations for their peacefulness, and the Happy Planet Index, which looks at the environment and people’s well-being in 151 countries to measure where people live long and happy lives.
New Zealand topped the list followed by Norway and Switzerland. Together Vietnam, Japan in the 8th ranking and Indonesia in the 10th level are three Asian representatives.
