Vietnam ranks 16th at ASIAD 2018 on second day of competition
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam won a silver medal and a bronze medal on the second day of Asian Games (ASIAD) 2018 in Indonesia.

Swimmer Nguyen Huy Hoang won bronze in the men’s 800m freestyle event on Monday. Weight lifter Thach Kim Tuan won silver in the men’s 56kg category with a lift of 128kg, 1 kg more than Om Yun Chol of Korea.
After 2 days of competition, Vietnam ranks 16th in the medal tally with 1 silver and 3 bronze medals. China is on top with 15 gold medals, followed by Japan and South Korea.
