(VOVWORLD) - All the Vietnamese contestants won prizes at the 15th International Junior Science Olympiad, which concluded Monday in Botswana.

The team, all 10th graders at the Hanoi Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, brought home four gold and two silver medals. The group also secured a gold medal in the practice category and a silver medal in the theory category. Vietnam won a bronze medal overall, behind China’s Taiwan and Thailand.
This year’s Olympiad, a competition in science for students who are 15 years old or younger, took place in Botswana’s capital city of Gaborone last week, attracting nearly 270 contestants from 44 countries and territories.
