Vietnam records 89 more COVID-19 cases
(VOVWORLD) - From 6 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, Vietnam recorded 89 more COVID-19 cases, including 1 imported case, which is now quarantined right after entering An Giang. 88 other cases were locally-transmitted in Bac Giang (55 cases), Ho Chi Minh City (20 cases), Bac Ninh (10 cases), and Ha Tinh (3 cases). Of them, 81 cases were detected in quarantine or lockdown areas.
Vietnam has so far confirmed a total 10,137 positive cases of COVID-19, including 8,506 community cases and 1,631 imported cases. The number of new cases from April 27 is 6,936. There have been 3,804 recoveries and 58 deaths.
21 provinces have not recorded new cases for 14 days.
