Vietnam records nearly 167,000 new cases of COVID-19 in 24 hours
(VOVWORLD) - From 4 p.m. on Saturday to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Vietnam recorded 166,968 new cases of COVID-19, of which 15 were imported and 166,953 were transmitted domestically in 62 out of 63 provinces and cities. To date, Vietnam has confirmed a total of 6,112,648 cases of COVID-19.

In the past 24 hours, 95,538 patients recovered, raising the total number of recoveries to 3,163,571. 95 patients died.
The Ministry of Health said that as of Sunday, Vietnam had administered nearly 200.2 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine and basically covered two doses of vaccine for people aged 12 and over.
The Ministry of Health on Saturday sent an official dispatch the provinces and cities on completing the 3rd dose vaccination for the adult population, who had their 2nd shot three months or more ago, by the end of the first quarter of 2022.
