Vietnam rejects ‘baseless’ reports of support for hackers
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam says the US cyber security firm FireEye's report which said Vietnam supported hacker group APT32 to break into state organisations and international businesses was "baseless".

Speaking at a regular press conference on Thursday, deputy spokesperson for the Vietnam Foreign Ministry Ngo Toan Thang said Vietnam forbids all cyber attacks, which should be denounced and strictly dealt with by law. The Vietnamese National Assembly in 2018 adopted the Law on Cyber Security and is now fine-tuning related legal documents to enforce the law and prevent cybersecurity attacks. He said Vietnam is ready to cooperate with international partners to combat cyber attacks.
