(VOVWORLD) - The Health Ministry announced 3,977 cases of COVID-19 on Saturday evening, bringing the total number of infections in the day 7,968.
HCM city continued to lead the caseload (5,396), followed by Binh Duong (785) and Long An (604). Hanoi detected another 9 cases.
Vietnam has confirmed 90,934 infections so far.
The country has administered nearly 4.5 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines.
