Vietnam, Republic of Korea boost trade and investment cooperation
(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh is on a three-day visit to the Republic of Korea to boost ties between the two countries. Mr. Ninh is expected to meet with National Assembly Speaker Chung Ui Hwa, the Ministers of Autonomous Administration, Infrastructure, and Transport and Korean International Cooperation Agency President.

Both sides agreed that regular contacts and visits between the two countries’ leaders will strengthen the Vietnam-Republic of Korea Strategic Partnership. The leaders said the Free Trade Agreement will open many opportunities to boost trade, and investment and create favorable conditions to increase trade to 70 billion USD by 2020. The two sides promised close cooperation to quickly reach and implement the Free Trade Agreement between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea. They also agreed to work closely together to effectively implement large scale ODA projects.
