Vietnam responds to World Day against Trafficking in Persons
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam is working hard to support victims of human trafficking after repatriation, said Chairwoman of the Vietnam Women’s Union Ha Thi Nga at a ceremony in Hanoi on Friday in response to World Day against Trafficking in Persons (July 30).

Nga said the trafficking in persons has been a constant global trouble.
“We have set the target of helping at least 80% of the repatriated victims access at least one social support service. We will continue communication activities to improve public awareness of safe use of the cyberspace to minimize the risk of human trafficking and other crimes,” said Nga.
The theme for 2022 World Day against Trafficking in Persons is “Use and Abuse of Technology,” which focuses on the role of technology as a tool that can both enable and impede human trafficking.
